Dimitris Maramis studied musical composition and classical piano in Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in the UK. Also, composition with Brian Elias in London. • He has composed incidental music, for 35 theatrical plays in United Kingdom and Greece.(Including: Cyrano de Berzerac, Blood Wedding, Eldorado, Beauty & the Beast, Miss Julie, The Elephant Man, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, As You Like It, Peer Gynt, Antony & Cleopatra, The Women of Troy, Three Sisters, Glass Menagerie, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Not About Nightingales e.t.c.) • He composed original score for the movie The Black Field by V. Marinakis and the short film Logicomix by Ap. Doxiadis. • His personal recordings include: "Scenes from A Silent Movie", based on lyrics by S. Trivizas and vocals by K. Klironomos & M. Fragoulis & V. Tagouli, "Dark Love", based on poems by F. G. Lorca vocals by M. Fragoulis & K. Klironomos, "Winter's Sundays" based on poems, vocals by K. Klironomos e.t.c.
